Refund policy
30-Day Return Window
We want you to love your fireplace. You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging with all materials and accessories included.
How to Start a Return
Email support@hearthcourt.com with your order number and reason for the return. Because our products ship directly from authorized manufacturers and distributors across the country, we will provide the correct return address and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for your specific item. Items sent back without a prior return request and RMA cannot be accepted.
Return Shipping
For non-defective returns (for example, a change of mind or the wrong model ordered), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend a trackable, insured method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Restocking Fees
Some manufacturers charge a restocking fee on returned items. Where a restocking fee applies, it is noted on the product page and deducted from your refund.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, or you receive the wrong product, contact support@hearthcourt.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will make it right at no cost to you, including covering return shipping and sending a replacement or issuing a full refund.
Inspect on Delivery
Fireplaces are heavy, freight-shipped items. Please inspect the packaging and product upon delivery and note any visible damage with the carrier before signing. Prompt reporting of freight damage is essential to a smooth claim.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, less any applicable return shipping or restocking fees. Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.
Non-Returnable Items
Custom or made-to-order units, clearance items, and products marked final sale cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
